Pet Attendants

Emily

Emily

Hi! My name is Emily and I am 24 years young. I was born in Phoenix, Arizona and moved to Oregon when I was about 2 years old. I graduated from Centennial Highschool in 2007 and have been working ever since. I recently became an auntie for the first time to a beautiful nephew named David Patrick. I’ve grown up surrounded by animals and wouldn’t have it any other way. At one time, my mother made her career as a veterinary technician. I have a wonderful dog, Lise. She is a pitbull-cross who I have had  for close to year and she is a GREAT pet.

Hello, my name is Lydia. I am a junior at David Douglas Highschool. I began working at Town & Country Animal Hospital in October of 2012 and I absolutely love it! Outside of work, I teach pre-school for the David Douglas Pre-School Program and cuddle with my newly adopted kitten, Ninja.

Lauryn

My name is Lauryn and I am a senior at Gresham High School. I am also in the dental program at the Center for Advanced Learning. I have worked at Town & Country Animal Hospital as a pet attendant since June 2011. I have always been a huge animal person, so I am very fortunate to be able to work with animals and not to mention a great staff! Recently I have decided that I want to become a veterinary technician. My goal is to go to Oregon State University and study animal medicine. Hopefully, one day I will have a career as a veterinary technician and continue to work at Town & Country.

Taira

Hi my name is Taira. I have been a Pet Attendant here at Town and Country since February 2010. I have 3 pets; a cat named Marshmallow and 2 ferrets named E.L.E. and ThorGus. I am currently attending Clackamas Community college to earn a transfer degree to go to Oregon State University.  At OSU, I plan to major in Enviromental Studies or Biology. When I’m not at work or at school, I am on my computer or reading a book. I have taken 3 years of sign language, so I have a tendency to sign and talk at the same time.
